ABSTRACT

Logistics strategizing is an effective tool for enhancing global business competitiveness. A strategic approach to business management involves shaping a long-term vision, defining key objectives, and developing a set of integrated solutions to achieve sustainable competitive advantage. In the context of increasing complexity of global economic processes and growing uncertainty in the business environment, logistics systems have become a critical factor that determines companies’ ability to compete in international markets. The transformation of global supply chains under the influence of digitalization, geopolitical changes, and growing requirements for sustainable development necessitates revising traditional approaches to logistics and developing integrated strategic solutions. This article introduces a comprehensive methodology for logistics strategizing and describes its effect on sustainable competitive advantages for companies under conditions of uncertainty. To study strategic logistics in the system of global competitiveness, the authors appealed to the general theory of strategy and strategizing developed by Professor Vladimir L. Kvint (Center for Strategic Research, Institute of Mathematical Research of Complex Systems; Economic and Financial Strategy Department, Lomonosov State University). The research yielded a conceptual model of logistics strategizing, a typology of logistics strategies, key factors for selecting optimal logistics strategies in the context of globalization, and an integrated approach to assessing their impact on international competitiveness. The methodology may be applied to strategize logistics at different types of companies. Future research will be focused on tools for evaluating the effectiveness of logistics strategizing and adapting it to various industrial and regional contexts.
