ABSTRACT

At the present stage of management science and practice, the problem of business communication is associated with complex professional tasks and high professional requirements for employees. The article introduces some recommendations on the issue of developing business communication culture in students of law. Lawyers provide legal assistance, explain the meaning of the law, hold meetings, etc. The skill of effective business communication and business correspondence is important for them to provide various types of legal services. Oral and written business communication is one of the main problems of business speech development. The authors used the methods of case study, typical situations, projects, and teaching by action to define the problems of forming a culture of business communication in law students and develop recommendations to increase the effectiveness of the academic process. The lack of specialized disciplines in the curriculum affects the business communication development. A law student needs to learn how to use the basic models of speech activity, understand the speech logic, and master the legal vocabulary. They require events aimed at developing their communication skills, such as workshops on business ethics, debates, negotiations, group projects and various forms of team work, etc. Law students need to develop their personality and self-confidence to be able to take the initiative in their professional activities.
