Abstract (English):

The transition to a multi-level educational system entailed a change in the methods of teaching academic disciplines. The solution of the task of educating a creative personality depends on a highly organized educational process, in which the writing of lectures, abstracts, and articles should be widely used, as well as reports and problem solving. At the same time, independent work of students forms their self-organization by the example of improving legal education and legal science. The current educational standards suggest that even full-time students should devote most of their time to selfpreparation, the amount of which is often comparable with the amount of contact work with the faculty in the process of training. Realizing the special practical importance of legal education and the social role of a lawyer, the process of implementing educational programs requires considerable attention to practice, formation of public speaking and writing skills. Of course, for the formation of the competencies of qualified lawyers, students should pay special attention to current issues of law enforcement, to understand practical problems. The article shows the need for scientific and pedagogical workers of higher educational institutions to organize, conduct and methodically provide independent work for students.
