   <abstract xml:lang="ru">
    <p>Введение. Социальный капитал является важным стратегическим активом регионального развития. Он относится к институтам, отношениям и нормам, которые формируют качество и количество социальных взаимодействий общества. Человеческий и социальный капиталы вместе с институциональной средой являются тремя столпами человеческого потенциала для создания богатства. Целью данной статьи является предложение основных подходов к определению и оценке социального капитала и его типов для дальнейшего использования полученных результатов при разработке и реализации стратегий социально-экономического развития регионов. Объекты и методы исследования. В работе определены три параметра социального капитала – частота контактов между индивидами, однородность и иерархичность, а также представлены четыре типа социального капитала – устанавливающий связи, сближающий, определяющий и объединяющей. Результаты и их обсуждение. В качестве практического результата исследования проведен анализ развития социального капитала в регионах Центрального федерального округа России по выборочным показателям за 2000–2019 гг. Показаны приоритетные направления развития социального капитала в стратегиях города Москвы, Московской, Калужской и Курской областях. Выводы. Для определения стратегических приоритетов развития социального капитала на уровне регионов необходимо не только понимать механизмы проявления его ключевых составляющих, но и оценивать его текущее состояние, анализировать формирующие факторы и выявлять тенденции на будущий период. Исследование может представлять ценность как для научных работников, так и для лиц, принимающих управленческие решения в сфере территориального стратегического развития.</p>

The present article introduces basic approaches to the definition and assessment of social capital and its types. The research results can help to create new strategies for the socio-economic development of regions. Study objects and methods. The authors identified three parameters of social capital: frequency of human contacts, homogeneity, and hierarchy. The paper also describes four types of social capital: linking, bonding, identifying, and uniting. Results and discussion. The research featured the development of social capital in the regions of the Central Federal District in 2000–2019, as well as the priority directions of the development of social capital in the city of Moscow and the regions of Moscow, Kaluga, and Kursk. Conclusion. At the regional level, strategic priorities for the development of social capital depend on its key components, current state, forming factors, and trends. The research can be of interest for scientists and decision-makers in the field of territorial strategic development.</p>
